Car shakes very hard...??=(

I was driving today to Atlantic City and i was kinda speeding and was at 90~110 MPH...ANd i felt the car and streeling wheels shaking awfully... And when i step on the brakes its even worse..

I know my rotors are warped and going to the deaelrship but anyone know why its shaking at 100 ish MPH??

I do need new tires also but what can be the problem??

Thanks

If it is happening at 100 you may want to slow down lol. You might want to check the stickies on the shimmy problems. It has been discussed a whole lot in these threads also. Steering wheel shake at 100 is scary as hell to me. If you need new tires that could be the problem also. There are alot of factors that contribute to this problem just look into the tsb's in the stickies. I could just about bet this one will be closed down soon. One more thing. Why in the world were you doing 100?

Does your car shake at lower speeds, like 85 mph? 100 mph is getting quick! Minor tire imbalances that are not felt at 70 mph can become very pronounced at those speeds. Like kdejour said, check the stickies for possible problems. But it is a good chance you only need to have your tires balanced. Good luck. Drive safely.

If your rotors are warped, that's the problem. Plus you should prolly slow down a bit!
