Awesome sound and a great gain, but I thought the 6thGen baseline dyno'd a tad higher.

Damn that sound was impressive. Just plain "WOW".

I would have thought the same, but almost stock people are getting close numbers to that 200 whp, with striaght pipe and intake RH did 212hp 224tq, so its right on I think..

around 200whp is what we do, sounds low..

by the way thanx for the comment..

it dropped only one on that run. it didn't drop any on another run, but it wasn't fully smoothed out..

my best completly smoothed out was 212hp 221tq:

If you do the calculation, the 212WHP is close to the 265CHP, but the 224WTQ is much higher that the 255CTQ. I have all 3 cats, Magnaflow resonator, stock mufflers, w/ new piping same diameter as stock (no crimps).

OK - I just saw the dyno over on the 6thGen site. The sound alone still gives me a stiffy.

I'm not sure how the calculations are, but 265 minus 24.5% is 200 right..

now 280 minus 24.5% is 211, I'm thinking we are at 280 crank, but I'm not sure of the right calculations..

with the ecu we are at 295hp at crank with those calculations.. since I'm at 223hp 235tq with the ecu..

I think it's more like 20%, .8 * 265 or 1.25 * 211. Anyone???

Is this intake better than the Injen CAI?

Which sounds louder or meaner at 4000 RPM +?

Here is a pic of my CAI, and Tek, thanks for the words brotha! i had an Injen, nice but it came off 5 minutes after i put it on, for some reason it tripped my check engine light and made the car run like poop, it might have been installer error or maybe it was the wrong part.....either way i absolutly love this fujita piece, sounds stock until you hammer on it and POOF!!!!......it just comes alive.GRRRRRRRRR!!

maxchef has the 2 piece cold air intake. Fujita stopped making that and is only selling the 1 piece cold air intake (MA-2816).
