Any info on the "Injen Intake with MR Technology?"

I was wondering if anyone has this installed in their vehicle or knows anything about it and if it is any good. Looks like something "advanced," but I wonder if it's effective, and if it's better than the fujita CAI. Thanks

MR Technology adjust the A/F ratio where? Overriding the MAF and the ECU?

Yes I did, and all that it shows is the wesite..which i've already read and then pictures of it installed, and that was not my question; my question was does anyone have it and does anyone with personal experience have any info about it.

I was only trying to help you out. My next step would have been to post a link to the many threads that I found here when I searched for injen. There are numerous members on this site who have this CAI and have posted info about their "personal experience" with it. I am sure no one wants a of information that has already been posted.

Well before you jump on him...he is asking about a NEW intake that Injen has developed. Most of the threads deal with the old style intake. The new one has a mounting slot for the MAF. I have been told that you disassemble the OEM MAF and place the electronic sensor itself within the Injen intake tube. Makes for a cleaner install with fewer connections for sure.

Beyond that I don't know too much about what the supposed benefits are compared to the original Injen.

just my 2 cents, im not a genious when it comes to all this a/f and ecu yada yada bs but if technosquare and other compainies are having such problems with the ecu and things like a/f ratios, i seriosly doubt injen could do it with a digital plug and play intake. but i could be wrong.

As far as I know no one has it here or it would have been posted already. I have the old setup and have had no problems with it.

The Fujita has a mounting slot built in the pipe as well. You disassemble the maf adaptor from the stock intake and assemble it onto the pipe and then plug in the maf sensor.

Besides that I don't know much about the "MR Technology" with Injen

I installed the new injen CAI this past weekend. Just like the the fujita it has a slot where the MAF sensor can be insereted.

It sounds good and it feels like the car revs freer through the mid and upper end. Is it better than the others? I do not know. The price was right and I had a credit left over at the tuner shop I use hear in Orlando, so I ordered the CAI. They are an Injen dealer so that is what I got.

In what way does an intake break in?

In two weeks I will be adding a ce y pipe and either a greddy or cattman catback exhaust. I will keep you posted on the results.

It takes a few days for the ECU to kick in with the new mod. I have the Greddy and love it.
