Jet Performance ECU vs. Technosquare

Has anyone looked into sending their ECU to Jet Performance for upgrades? I wonder what the performance differences are between Jet and Technosquare. The price for the Jet upgrade is listed at $349 with a claim of 15 hp increase. Can anyone confirm these claims?

whichever is working properly

Have they cracked one yet?

If not f...it. Go with technosquare cause they have cracked it, only problem is from all the stuff I read so far is that it runs kinda lean on the top end with an aftermarket intake.

Thanks,

Kam

JET has never ever showed gains on a VQ equipped Maxima. I would steer clear and read the AM forum for more options.

TS seems to be a viable option at this point.

I've heard nothing good from Jet,

but TS is a good company, I've been working with them from the start of this ecu programming and haven't had any bad experiences yet..

the lean issue will be worked out by production, infact next week... next wed will be my next update, and hopefully i can dyno that sat..

Are you keeping track as to what parameters they're altering? i.e cam timing, ignition timing etc.. and also what values they're altering them to?

Good point-can they adjust the ECU for the mods like CAI, exhaust, Y pipe, etc....

The ECU does need to be remapped or get a piggyback, if you add more mods. TS will map the ECU to your dyno/specification.

Good! So if and when I order I assume that some of the questions they ask is does the car have a CAI, cat back, mid pipe, etc?

Get dyno with mods and send in with ECU.

Why does the dyno need to be first-a/f's?
