Tranny mods?

Are there tranny mods out for the 4spd and 5spd autos to make them shift faster? A buddy wants to run juice but we would like it to shift faster during shifts. Maybe a dr mod or something.

ECU makes them shift stupid fast.

Ask Tek-Niq about it. He got the beta test 5sp and Jsmithsole did the 4sp.

ECU helps, but there is an module for the tranny itself. There's another way by cracking the tranny open and chenage some parts. Check 4th and 5th gen forums.

you might also want to try a tranny cooler, especially if you get the valve body mod done.

I remember somebody saying that they looked into getting that done, but that they couldn't for some reason...

It was one of the "early adopters group" here, I'm sure of that... either Tek, Deus, Ramberg or the like -- you know, the people that are always pushing the envelope. And they said it was not possible but I don't remember why.

I also think I remember Squint saying that he was looking into it, but I could be wrong on that one.
