Peeling paint on rocker panel

When I first got my '04, brand new, I noticed that the passenger side rocker panel was not completed painted. The paint line was very irregular and not covering it completely. I didn't think anything of it, it's plastic and you couldn't notice it unless you looked under the car. Drivers side was fine. Now the paint is actually peeling and is very visible. It looks terrible. Has anyone else had this happen?

ttbeam - I have never seen this problem, and don't recall hearing about it here. As you are in Mississippi, there should be no way the dealer can say anything about winter driving or salt or sand on frozen roads.

If he is one of those few dealers who tries to take care of their customers, he will get this rocker panel repainted at Nissan's expense. After all, they are the ones who mispainted the panel to begin with.

Thanks, I will be taking it in after vacation next week. I do believe they will be cooperative about. I take it to Dobbs Nissan in Memphis and they've been real good.
