My Maxima...Remote starter problems....

I had a remote starter from Viper 79XXX somting series and it was installed for about 8 months now... During the winter and starting of this summer i have used only the remote starter to start the car and not actually crank it to start it...

Today i got in my car and cranked the keys all the way and i get no spark???

My car doesnt do anything to start...All it does is just give me electricity on Navi and etc...

Than i pull my keys out and tried the remote start and the car starts with no problems...

Does this happened to anyone else before??

The car doesn't start with the key...It only starts with the remote...

BUT SOMETIMES the key ignition works... ...???>>>

Any help would be great..

Take it back to the installer to fix. You don't want to go messing around with the alarm and void your warranty.

I live in the South...

It would be nice for me to have a remote starter so the car AC could start to cool the car off before I get to it.

Will look to see if anyone around here has one so I can see it work.

Thanks

sounds like a key sensor problem to me, might be the bypass module.

Actually what it sounds like is that your starter kil is not hooked up right. You could either have a bad connection or the relay itself is stuck.

If you need to, give me a call and I'll take a look at it for you.
