Half HID, Half Halogen?

So i'm at my local nissan stealership...(I mean dealership ) and I notice a brand new 06' SE that is open, so i sit in it and turn the lights on and the main lights are HID's and the foglights are Halogen. What's the deal with that, because all the 6th gen Max's that i've seen on the road have both Main and Fog lights as HID's. So what's the deal with that, or am I just confused?
Thanks

Dan

You erred in thinking BOTH the headlights AND fogs were HIDS. They were always HID headlights and halogen fogs.

I have HIDs in my fogs, but only because I had them changed.

Those aren't HID in your foglights...are they? They look more like JDM yellow to me
