I was wondering the same thing. I've been away from the forum for a while finishing up school and now the Redlinemax site seems to be defunct. What gives? I want that grill so I can change up my car's look a little.

For those that have the lower bumper billet grille from Ebay......

How did you get the J-Hooks to wrap around the plastic in the openings?

Mine will not line up. I'm assuming the hooks wrap around the top of the plastic, not from underneath. I've tried it both ways and the grill flipped both ways (there's a bit on an offset to the welded tabs inside the grill).

Any help?

I did not do anything special. I tried to hook them from the top and couldn't get a good fit so I hooked mine from the bottom. There was no offset at that point. I have heard that the install goes easier if you remove the main grille and reach down to hold the J-hooks in place with one hand and tighten the screws with the other hand. I did not try this personally though.

I'll try a few more times from the bottom. The main grille went on in 10 minutes...this lower piece is a PITA.

get an '07 and you won't have to worry about a hideous grill, or equally stupid aftermarket pieces

Hey guys,

One thing thats bugging me w/ this E&G grill is that I can see threw it and see the white bumper inside.

Think masking the bumper off and spraying the inside bottom and sides black will help?

It looks like some grille you'd see on a madmax movie grille on one of their trucks. Sorry just being honest!

I think the E&G mesh grille or smokinmax's in chrome would go really nice with the color of your ride.
