Does anyone happen to know about the small lights on the bottom of the nissan maxima 6th generation ...are those lights for show or can you actually use them????????????????sorry im clueless to this fact.thanks

Hey those lights are cornering lights which help you see better when you turn and when you are driving along curbs.. they also signal which direction you will turn when you signal. most people are turning them into fog lights though...

well the ones i have dont turn on at all.so i thought they where for show..to make the car look nice...yeah not that you need fog lights in miami tho but it would look real nice as hid..apparently they have been installing hid lights in their place so awesome..and thanks for the info Propa Teknique

im in the same situation as gorgeous too.. wondering how to turn those corner lights into fogs.. How can you do that? rewiring the fog lights in the headlamp to the corner ones?

Your lights dont turn on probably because the fuse is burnt. I had to change the fuses for them to work. Apparently Nissan was cheap and put like a low wattage fuse in all my lights. You can turn the cornering lights into fogs if you get the angel halo kit.. im not sure of the link but I'll try to find it....

yeah i kinda figured they where burnt either that or like you said the dealer didnt bother to hook me up and hange them..sucks but thanks for the info..yeah try and find me that link please so i can get that hooked up quick..i know itll make the car look nicer cause now it looks like its there for nothing you get me...hit me me up tho with that...

YOU CAN GET them tinted somehow... just browse through the links in the 6th generation thread and you will find it

I have an 04 Se Pearl White... I havent done anything to it yet cuz I'm torn in between keeping it or going with the FX45... I'm so lost right now...

Man, they need to come out with a nice mesh grill for the 07..Still waiting for something nice..They only have chrome stuff out right now..I emailed active tuning, hopefully they're making something.

I think the fitting is different on them.. they are a little more pointed at the bottom so it might not fit.. if it does you would have some extra space you would need that isnt covered by the grille.... and the billet grille is much too long to fit on the lower bumper.

Sorry, but I can't recommend that vendor [Roger] as many members here and at NYCMaximas had problems with him [I & many others didn't have problems with Roger.] BTW these eyelids are paintable poly [they come gloss black] I had them painted at a local body shop for $60 [a perfect color match]

So you were the many lucky ones. Where do you suggest to purchase them? $60 is not bad to be painted, yea i can see the perfect color match came out beautiful
