"Change Oil Light" ???
"Change Oil Light" ???
I'm asking for a friend that has a 6th gen Maxima. He says he doesn't know how to reset his " CHange oil light". I didn't know the 6th gen's came with that feature. So if he's not tripping on the "check engine light" and that the change oil light does exist, does anyone know how to reset it?
thanks
thanks
Press the "maintenance" button below the "navigation screen" and make sure that you are not driving becasue it will not let you reset it. And once at the "oil change" screen, just hold the "trip reset" button for a few seconds and YOU'RE GOOD TO GO! and you can also change the miles in between the "check oil light," once at the screen just use the "left/right" buttons and make it go anywehre from 3000-10,000 i believe, but it may go less or more. hope this helped!

I see you're trying to be sarcastic... Again, not my car, I'm just asking for a friend who was too impatient and skimmed through his owner's manual. I suggested that to him before I asked here... but you know how some people are. Impatient.
!PrjctMax!: Thanks for the info. After I told him, he felt kind of dumb, because he was actually there. He didn't press and hold the reset button long enough for it to reset.
