It's Progress, not "Progressive".
You all might be confusing the name with "progressive-rate", which just means that part of the spring is soft and part of it is hard.
Well... that or the insurance company, I guess.

I just installed the Progress springs (ordered from Cattman) with KYB GR2 shocks/struts. They are progressive springs: they get stiffer as you compress them. When I load the trunk, the rear does not squat much. May I suggest getting the rear sway bar from Progress at the same time.

how much did you pay for your springs and the install
and is this for all 4 springs
Any major tire chain usually charges between $80-100 depending on where you live but its so easy to do yourself!!!!! 2 hours tops with the right tools

Got busy at the office.
Just added a few pics of the lowered look at www.cardomain.com/ride/2248073

can anyone comment on how these change the ride experience from the stock SL setup (i know the only thing "sport tuned" about the suspension on the SE is the larger tires/wheels) to the kyb/gr2 + progress springs
i like the plush ride right now and don't want to lose that in general but i would like a better suspension b/c i have started to autox my car - i can wait a few months and buy some coilovers for myself for xmas if it's worth it

No autox experience here, but I suspect that coilover would be better for you.
Ive got Progress/Cattman springs on my SL and I like them alot. Soon I will also have KYB all around. The main thing is the ride isnt harsh, even to my wife, who can feel a grain of salt under the mattress(princess syndrome)! Plus the spring are super easy to do on this car.
I had the Progress Springs and the RSB installed a couple of months ago. Performance wise, the ride is great. Feels verys secure on the road, especially corners and highway curved ramps. Luxury wise, not so great, some of the bumps actually feel jarring, compared to what I had with the stock springs.
Looks? IMO The car looks 100% better with the springs. I can really see the difference when I park next to a stock Maxima. Pros and cons, you always have to weigh them.
My sig pics are with the springs installed. I am still using the 18" wheels.
My domain site has other pics, you can see the difference yourself.

I have Cattman/Progress springs, RSB, and adjustable KYB shocks and the handling is really really good. If I drive to LA or somewhere more than local driving, I can click the shocks to a 2 instead of 5 and the ride softens right up. Front Altima SE-R bar to be installed shortly.
