Awesome J that you continue to be the LED researcher of the forum.

I have a new found distributor for LED's now ---- so 2 good things are about to happen.

1. The price of the LED upgrade is going to drop
2. All of the wedge based bulbs can be upgraded to these super dupa 36 LED's

Sweet, let me know if you have any questions on anything.

The rears were a tight fit (as I mentioned in my "how to") But I eventually got them in there. That sucks man! What do you mean by the other lights went nuts?

Sorry about that! I used 3 ohm load equalizers, which cover the front and back so I never messed with the front. You just need a signal tester to see which one blinks...
Sorry not more help on this one!!

Yep they went haywire...... i tried to get one bulb in the brake socket and that was a task in itself but it finally went in with a little muscle but when i stepped on the brake pedal all of my lights came on like front blinkers, instrument cluster, reverse lights and they were very faint so i didnt like them but then i tried the rear blinkers same thing but if i wiggled the bulb and held it just right they looked good with the hazzards on but blinkers were on warp speed but these bulbs if only they were like a 16th of an inch smaller it would be no problem

Read up in the stickies NEWB!!! There's lot of good info in there including how to's for the front and rear bulb replacements...

(and by the way for these yes plug and play except for the load resistors)

Technically the LEDs would burn out faster, because there is too much power going to the bulb. Just imagine anything electronic with too much power going to it for a long period of time, failure is inevitable.

It's the 1157,this is the only bulb on the car that has the metal bayonet base instead of the plastic wedge type. (not sure why it's the only one but anyways)

And for the record the "56" vs. "57" (whether 11-- or 30--) Tells you what kind of bulb it is:
Dual purpose (filament)1157 & 3057 bulb, like parking light and brake/blinker.
Single purpose 1156 & 3056 (our cars only have one 3056 bulb used in the cornering lights)

I thought by not using the resistors, you get that insane fast flashing? But yours seem to be flashing normally?
