It's a mind trick, when I look at the video I took it seems that way as well. The lights are on solid wht and when you signal they blink to amber and then back to wht...

make sure to get the equalizers if you want the normal flash rate...if you are only getting LED's up front and not in your brake lights then you need 2 6ohm equalizers...just go to their equalizers and flash rate fix's page

i was thinking, could you mount the 3ohm equalizers on the rear lights even though you only have swtichbacks or any leds on the front blinkers? Since there is somewhere in the rear lights that is metal to attach the stabilizers to. would this work?

not sure, but the method that blulyte (spelling) used with the zipties seems like a good idea, but if mounting them in the tailights would be a possibility then that woul be much easier to do!

thats what i was thinking. since jsmith did put em in the taillights, i thought we could still mount them there, just with the 3ohm stabilizers right? i dont see why this wouldnt work?

If you only get LEDs in the front or the rear then you have to get 2 6ohm equalizers, but if you get LEDs in both front and back then you need 2 3ohm equalizers.

sry, that was a typo. Ya you would need 2 6ohm stabilizers for only front leds, but i was wondering if it would be possible to mount these on the taillight wires instead even though the tail lights would have the OEM bulbs since the installation of the stabilizers is easier on in the tails.?

No, they weren't mounted in that pic, just sitting there. I pushed them down low away from the plastic before I put my tailight back in. I didn't mount them to metal but I have checked them again and have had no problems....

Love the night shots, but what about the day. What color do they blink during the day without the parking lights? Just curious

You can do it, it just takes some patience. You have to pull the bulb out and into the little cave (I know not a technical term) in between the fender and the metal brace. It's a stretch but I've done it numerous times....

Any mechancc should be able to change light bulbs but why pay? There's plenty of info and help around here to get the job done yourself! When I first started posting here, I pretty much knew nothing and always went to the "mechanic" but now I feel confident in doing all sorts of projects that I would have never tried 1300 posts ago!!
