My car hates me

So, you guys obviously know that our car's do not have an automatic window-up feature on the key fob.

Mine does!!!! It's not good, thought! What happens is I unlock my car and it locks again right away. After that, the windows go right back up.

I called the dealership and the guy was like . I don't think that his lack of knowledge was good. What do you guys think or know about this issue?

So yours auto-ups & downs? I'd love to have auto up then I wouldn't have to run out to close them when it starts raining

I posted a thread a long time ago asking if anyone knew how to do this but nothing came of it.I only have the auto up/down on the front two windows. I'm still wondering if I go and buy the window switch panels that come with the elite package, will it give me the option to roll all 4 windows down using the remote.... or are there extra wires and relays required?

Well I would like to let you guys know that a buddy of mines purchased a G35 coupe and he has the same remote we have. He has auto start/up-down feature with his remote. I think it you would have to have extra relays in your car or something. I have been researching this feature for our cars. I went to a Nissan stearlership and got the usual answer. DAH!!!!!!!! Next I plan on going into an Infinti dealership and ask them this very question. Or if we have some Nissan techs in here they may be able to go to work and look at the prints for our cars and tell us.

I have a hard time stopping the front windows once they get started going down. It would be nice to have all windows roll down and up with the remote.

You mean by using the switch on the door? Push it lighter for manual movement, pushin the switch all the way down activates auto mode. It is a little tricky.

is there an aftermarket window module installed in the car? Sounds like an aftermarket window module that was wired up wrong.

I dont understand where it would be a safety issue. Roll-up modules are designed to stop when the module feels excessive load ie something causing the motor to work harder. Thats how it knows when to stop rolling the window up. Hmmmm.
