Headlight Overlays

Hey guys,

Over the last several months I have seen members make modifications to their headlights that seem really great. I know some members have done the full smoke overlay to their headlights and some have painted their headlights. I have contacted bluebat which has sold several members either the eyelids or the overlays to discuss the possibilty of creating an overlay that is similar to what he has done on the G35 coupe. He contacted me back and said he would be glad to do it for us as long as he can get a test car for fitment in the San Diego area and if there is interest. Please look at the link below tell me what you think and I will let him know if there is interest.

He's used me as a test car for many of his designs - if you get enough interest tell Bat to call Chris. I will do the test measurements for him.

How do you apply the sidemarket overlays.....do they just "lay" over, or do they go on top of the orange..like inside the headlight.....doesnt make sense to me yet.

they lay over the headlight, outside.. Bat uses a top quality vinyl that last long. I bought some vinyls from him for my celica and max.

I have had the eyelids and didnt match the color that well.

I have the overlays and I can they come close. I can live with it.

Every other color matches really well but the majestic is not one of them

How are these applied onto our headlights? Is it just a sticker type thing?

Im not too sure about getting this type of overlay to cover the entire headlight on the max due to that funky piece that sticks out on the sides which houses that ugly orange reflector.

I know that our headlights have a weird desigin but I think that he can create something that will get rid of the ugly orange reflector like he did with the G35 design. Hopefully he gets enough interest and design something that we all like.

I like these the best. I like how they go from the corner where the hood and light meet to the back corner over the amber side marker, pluse the are thicker and look more real. How much?

Hey guys,

If anyone else has input on the headlight overlays from Bluebat please chime in. If anyone has a different design idea than the link I posted please let me know so I can pass on the info to bluebat. Hopefully we can create enough interest and he will create something for us.
