Guide me in the right direction.

Just baught me an 05 Maxima SL as a daily driver. I am looking into the making some minor performence modifications and would like to get some suggestions to what works/doesn't work on these VQ 3.5 engines. I have about $600 to burn on the Max for now.

performance=fujita, UDP, exhaust, ecu, cams......

suspension=progress springs, KYB shocks/struts, Progress rsb, racingline endlinks, FSB from SE-R altima, soon to be strut bar from Taz...and obviously tires as well

there's a quick rundown of basic mods for the max

For $600 bucks I would say AEM Intake, Eibach Springs, Stillen Sway Bar, and Racingline endlinks. Might be a little over.

I agree with AllblackMax!

Tint windows too!. Lower the car and get an aftermarket grille. The car will look awesome!

Happy Motoring!

suspension will put you back about $350-400 and the intake will take back another maybe 250-300...suspension should be first on your list...IMO have fun with the car.

save a lil more and put it towards some headers, that will be the most power from a single mod hands down. Intakes are overated, especially for the price.

Some great idea's posted here for you, but do remember if all you have is $600 you'll have to incorporate the price of installation into anything you buy
