ECU Flash on our 6th Gens...

ok guys, im a little confused and a lot noobish....

When you guys mention about flashing your ECU when you install a new intake, it will provide better horsepower.

Some are saying to install a new ECU chip when you install the new intake.

so what would be better? reflashing or purchasing a new ECU?

Also, does the dealership do ECU flashes??? How much do ECU chips cost compared to re-flashing??

There is a thread on the 6th Gen forum dedicated to all ECU questions, you may have to search back but it's there, also PM TEK-NIQ, he was the one who helped with the R&D of the 6th Gen ECU.
