On February 5th, I bought an 07' Maxima SL, Dark Slate, Non-Nav, Driver Preferred Package. The sticker was $33,325. I paid $28,225. No trade in.

I was told by the salesman that the CVT adjusts to any of the three based on your driving style. He also told me that in the 06' and earlier Maximas that the suspension was tigher on the SE than the SL, but they met in the middle and now they are the same for both on the 07'. Have you had any issues with your fuel economy numbers? I keep getting around 14.5 mpg displayed. I only have 500 miles so far, maybe it will work itself out in time.

Made a similar deal on December 30 for an '07 Maxima SE, Dark Slate, Non-Nav, Driver Preferred Package, Trunk & Floor Mats and Colored Splashguards. MSRP $32,725, Invoice $29,748, Sales Price $27,700 (after $1500 rebate).

(I also negotiated a trade of a 1999 Ford Contour at $3700, which I thought was generous, so the net purchase price was $24,000 + tax, title, license and the inescapabe 'service fee' of $99; they also threw in wheel locks and paint protection at no charge.)

I just got a 07 Silver Maxima SE.

It has cloth seats, but does have duel climate controls, the bose system, and sunroof.

MSRP $34,967.
Paid $28,959 without taxes or licences without a rebate, and 2.9% financing.

Yeah, that number sounds about right w/ out the NAV. With NAV I was looking at around 29-30k. I ended up falling for an 07 SL w/ Elite package for 32k even. It actually turned out to be more because I took the 2.9% over the 1,500 rebate... I wanted the lower monthly payments.
