Grill Mod

How you guys doin? I don't normally browse through the 6th Gen Forum usually, but I'm going to try and modify my stock A33 I30 grill and I'm goin to need your help guys.

First off, the middle piece on your grill...are they all chrome or are some black plastic and/or body painted? Secondly, is the Nissan piece removable or will I need to sand it down to make it all flat and smooth? Third, does anybody know or can they get me the dimensions of the middle piece?

I believe that's all the info I need for now, but if I happen to think of suttin else I will post it up. Thanks alot guys.

The tooth is 9.5" in height, 11" wide at top corners, 10" wide thru center of emblem and 9" wide at the bottom.

Awesome. The fact that it is tapered being wider at the top and more narrow towards the bottom is PERFECT so thank you very much for both the pics and exact dimensions.

One more quick question tho...So from the looks of it I can't just attain/buy that middle piece, I would have to buy the whole grill and dremel it out right? Once again, thanks alot guys.

With many people changing to aftermarket grills, I'd bet there are a few members around here that might sell you their old grill.
