Goodbye Maxima.org....

...NOT!!!!!

Traded in the 04 Max for an 07 Max today. Silver, but this time with Black leather interior. Lost the sunroof and gained the SkyView, but I can deal with that. Also gained the rear sonar system to keep me from bumping into stuff, but that never happens anyway.

But, I am very happy, I love the new layout and changes made to the 07, and this was a spur of the moment decision.

My 04 had 54,000 miles on it, and was purchased on 8-30-2003.

Glad to still be with the ORG!!!

Yep, you know it, stickers are a definite must!!

As for the change, I have been checking out the 07 and I was just due for a change. No real reason I suppose, but glad I did it. Now I am off to Best Buy to get a cable so I can listen to my Zune. Going about 75 miles to visit mom tomorrow.

My Kenwood Nav system will be for sale soon, I will post details here next week after I get it back and figure out the pricing.

thats the only thing that's gonna stop me from trading my 04 towards an 07 is the lack of option for a manual , i've driven the 07 and the cvt is i have to say one of the weirdest driving experiences i've had

Yea, the CVT is a little odd, but I am used to it already. I know the specs say that it has 10hp less than the 04-06, but in my opinion, the CVT really gives it some pep. It accelerates pretty quickly.

Actually, that difference is only in the way the engine output is measured (different SAE standards). They actually have the same output. That is, if you measured the 2004-2006 using the same stadards as the 2007, they would ALL putout 255 HP... if you measured the 2007 using the 2004-2006 standards, they would ALL putout 265 HP.

Glad to see that you are used to the CVT and that it seems to pull the car well. Good luck with the new 07.
