G35c rims

I hope this member doesn't mind but I like how the G35 18" Coupe rims look. I think I might like a set.

I think these look better on the Max than the 7 spoke wheels.

The 7spoke G35 Rims look better on the Max. I want a set. Guess my tax return will be gone by the time I'm done.

I think it's a good replacement for those who don't want 20" rims anyway. They look stock and you can fit older nissan center caps on them.

Those do look extremely nice, but i'd rather get myself a set of gun-metal Nismo 19's that weigh next to nothing=performance gain!

Do you by chance know how much the G35 rims weigh?

I considered these wheels before but then changed my mind. There is a seller on ebay who sells the silver ones for $450, but they are not authentic. They are exact replicas though and I was going to buy them, then I decided to get some other rims.

I read in another thread that the replica's are a different width from oem. Oem's are 18 x 8 all the way around.

Definitely look nice! Infiniti always seems to have some of the sickest OEM rims out there. Keep your eyes on the For Sale forum, eBay & Craigslist.

The rims are 18x8 all around and there are a lot of oem for sell with tires unfortunately the tires are 225F/245R the offsets are +30F and +33R and I believe the rim alone weighs about 26lbs. The 05 thru 06 Coupe wheels would be a better choice they weigh just 19.5lbs in the front and 20lbs in the rear they are staggard though...

in the for sale thread you can get wheels and tires for 900. i like the wheels. was going to get them for my winter wheels but changed my mind. good luck. ebay would be the best place to get them but they would be replicas. who cares though.

I stay stick with OEM... If you want some good reading, check the "G35 Wheels on a Max" Sticky... All your questions (except maybe pics on the newer Maxima) will be answered there.

Does anyone know if these will also fit on the stock rs-a tires? The spokes look like they poke out a little.

What's the size of the OEM tires, 245/45/18? If so, they'll fit just fine. I'm using 225/45/18, and any width from 225-245 I know is OK. Depending on your car (lowered vs stock height), you may rub with taller tires, but that varies.

Uhhmmm... this may be a dumb question, but how many miles are one your RSA's? Are they your first set? If so, have you checked for any cracking sidewalls?

Personally, I'd never buy another set of RSA's again after the cracking issue (or actually Goodyear tires in general after what they put me through replacing them).

True, the service dept. did the 30K service and said the tires will need replacing soon. I just looked and the wear marks are showing up front in the middle.

OK. I was concerned that you may have had the cracking sidewall problem that many of us have had here. Mine were so cracked (much worse on the inside) that I think I could almost stick a penny in the crack. I got mine replaced a little before 30K.

I'll decide this week if I'll get replica's or not. The replica's are in Gunmetal, chrome or hyper silver which I think is similar to the finish on our rims now. Nissan caps included.

The 19s weigh about the same as the Rays.

So is there a huge reason other than the "they aren't real" factor that makes the replicas bad? I was going to buy the Hyper Silver set from ebay very soon but want to make sure its not a big mistake.

Weight & durability. The replica's are generally heavier, and may not have the same durability as the "real" ones. However the cost usually evens this out.

True. The price is cheap enough and they won't be used. Also, the RS-A's can be used with these.

The 6gen in the first thread has Replica's. The center cap is blank. The thread where I found those pics, Replica's was mentioned. They sell on Ebay for $499 plus $89 shipping. Gunmetal, Chrome or Hyper Silver with "nissan cap" or blank center cap.

How about some 06 350Z Enthusiast 18" on the 6th gen max? I have a set for sell. It's almost brand new, the tires only have about 100 miles on it as it was the drive from the dealership to home, then from home to rim shop where it came off. The next day I did a test fit of the rims on my max and they are for references as to how they will look.

rim size: 18x8 front, 18x8.5 rear
offsets: +30mm front, +33mm rear
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza RE040 Front 225/45/18, Rear 245/45/18.

I'm ordering this wheel

Nissan Center Cap

I was going to get the regular silver but the G35 silver is darker than even our oem wheels. These wheels are only a $100 buck more than the hyper silver. If I don't like how they look then I'll send them back or sell them.

Well, got my G35 rims today. They have a satin finish that almost looks polished in certain light. I was going to send them back for the chrome version but the hyper silver looks really good sitting against the Smoke.

Should I mount them or send them back for chrome?

Got the Nissan caps too. These wheels are the same in the links I posted in the first thread. Appears to have the same blank center caps too. When I ordered, I didn't know blank center caps came with the rims. I paid $30 extra for the caps.

Pics of replica G35 wheels on a smoke Altima here.......... http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/nis...light=g35+rims

Chrome version on Altima........
http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/mem...light=g35+rims

Could only find one 6gen Maxima with the 7spoke G35c rims and they look better on the Maxima.

Based on those Altima pics, I think the satin wheels look good on smoke, but I would prefer the chrome. I'm not usually a chrome kind of guy, but the chrome really has a nice pop to it without looking bling-bling.

Well, had them mounted already. Now it's below 0 outside it snowed pretty good yesterday. I did wash it but the road salt and slush got to it again.

These have an eye catching effect when they are spinning.
