Leather seats

I have an '06 SL with black leather. It has black leather seats and the lower part of the seat (the part where your a$$ rests) is all stretched out. It has a big "leather bubble" in the middle. The leather is "buckled" or whatever the proper term for it is....I don't know. Looks like hell though.

I have had the car for 6 months or so, but it looked this way after only a month probably. I bought it new.

Here is a pic of what I'm talking about. This isn't my car in the pic. It is a car that is for sale on auto-trader. My seat looks worse than this one.

Is this normal??? It looks BAD. Nothing can be done about it I guess. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I hear that farting softens the leather causing it to stretch

But for REAL....my seats look just like that.

I believe that happens cause the weight stretches the leather and I don't think there is anything that can be done about it. I never liked the factory leather and that is why I'm gonna go with Katzkin

my situation is a little different. yes mine is like that also, but right after i get up from my seat. But after 1 hour or so, it molds back into place. So there is no bubble or sinkage in my seat.

I use leather condition on my seats once a week. I dont know if that helps. But my seats do not look like that for a long period of time...
