Power Programmer, Chip, ECU flash or what?

I'm a big Mustang guy that just got a Maxima. What do you guys use for ECU programming? With Mustangs we have chips that go into the ECU, programmers that plug in and can change everything in the computer, or the computer can be sent away to be flashed.

What's available for Maxima? I can't find any chips or anything? Can't find much on Power Programmers either. What the thing to do to get in intake runner totally opened up, shift points changed, etc, etc.

And on that thought, what parts of the ECU are you changing and why. Thanks.

TS ECU flash is available for certain 6th gens; 6MT and 5AT w/ or w/o TCS; no 4AT or VDC. You can contact then at technosquareinc.com They remove speed limiter, advanced timing, raised rev limiter, adjust air to fuel ratio, and recalibrate throttle by wire to open 100%.

Is it worth the money? Is there no programmers out there so you can do it yourself and change it at will?

None that have shown themselves yet. A few months ago, a couple of guys were thinking about getting some equipment to start doing them, but haven't heard anything. It's worth the money if you want more than just sound from your mods. You can go the piggyback route too, but it won't change certain areas that a flash can.

Cobb tuning is working on something for the 350z. I have expressed interest in having it adapted to a Maxima. If more people request it then they will probably do it.
