20x9.5 in rear

Will 20x9.5 wheels fit in the rear of an 07 Max without any rubbing? I'm also planning to lower the car with Progress springs. You guys think I'll have problems? Has anyone done this before?

As to the original post, it depends on the offset as well, not just the width. I've heard of 19x10.5 on a 5th gen so I would think 6th gens could pull 20x9.5 off, with maybe some fender rolling (not hard). Post the offset, and that'll help us determine it...

Will fit, depending on offset.

That is absolutly correct!! It depends an the offset, i just put 10.5 on the rear of my max and i have no issues.......BUT.if i intend on having someone ride with me in the rear i will have to roll the fenders.

Good Luck!!

Like I said: it depends on offset as well. Wheel width is only half the equation.

Sorry OT, I hear you bro, I live 10 minutes from Naval Air Station Patuxent River and almost daily I see Tigersharks, A4's, F/A 18's (from the test pilot school), UAV, Presidential helo's, and the new Joint Strike Fighter (The Raptor) X-32. Also V-22 Ospreys, Cobra's, and a mix of different SH-60's, and test /support aircraft like E-3 AWACS, E-2 Hawkeyes, Rivet Joint, Joint Stars and some ABCCC, damn this is a fun place to be, something always going on...

One day they were doing some high speed tracking runs on an F/A 18 Super Hornet and when it broke the sound barrier, I ran out my house looking for the Mushroom Cloud in the distance, it was that load...

Every driveway should have one... (OK so it's an F-15 Eagle)

What's the offset? That makes a different, example my Rims are 18X8 with a 5X114mm offset...

thank you. A 40mm offset is very high and will not stick out far from the hubs. IIRC the stock 6th gen SE wheels are 40mm...Someone with, say, a 15mm offset on a maxima will have some problems...

I am not sure....I will look into it though..After they were installed, I didnt really like too much. Not wide enough for me. Heck, let me find a pic.

Here it is..Looks a lil diff now...I took the mudflaps off and a few other minor things.

See how they do not stick out as far as a lot of yours....Why's that? Do I need 255s? I think the offset is 40mm. I am also Eibach lowered.

Hey Kam;

Dominik went with 245/40/19 over same rims and no rubbing here, try that size on your next set
