Do all '04's have foglights???

I have an '04 SE and when I have the headlights on and turn the foglight switch, nothing happed. There are lenses in there, but can't tell if there is actually bulbs or not. Would they have made the car without fogs?

Ok...so it has them. When I turn the switch on the stick, nothing happens. Neither light comes on. The car has 59K...I can't imagine they would be burnt out. What should I do to figure this out?

They only come on when the main headlights are on.

And just to make sure, you're not checking the corner lights, are you? The foglights are integrated into the headlights and the angled corner lights on the bottom (where typical foglights are located) are not the foglights and they come on when the blinker is on...

I figured that, but no dice. Even with the headlights on, they do nothing. Any more thoughts?

Yea, I know they are part of the headlights.
Maybe I should check the fuse. I'd think I'd loose other things also if it were a fuse.

How do I change the bulbs? I cannot see how to get to them from under the hood.

Many people have their way of taking out part of the intake and then windshield washer reservoir, but I just like taking off my bumper and then taking out my headlight...I've done it so many times that I can have the bumper+the 2 headlights off in about 10-15 min....I shiet you not

Do you have any tricks or advice on doing this?
How do you get the headlights re-aligned, or do they go right back to where they came from?

bumper take off=open hood, take off 4 clips on plastic thing on grill, 2 plastics under that, 2 plastics on the far left and far right side, 5 plastics or 5 screws for the under-carriage protector thing, now just steer wheel all the way to the left and unclip a few of the splash guards on the right side of car and get 2 12mm bolts out of there and do same for other side. to little clips on far left and right of bumper and thats it! now just carefully pry off the bumper and disconnect the cornering lights.

headlights=5 12mm nuts

here's an "english" version...lol http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=448900

edit:no need to re-align lights

I've gone the bumper route as well, but the inside way works as also, as long as you don't have big 'ol hands!
Check the stickys....

Ok...I checked the fuse and it is ok. So it must be the bulbs? I just can't believe that a car with 59k would have BOTH bulbs burnt out? Hmmm.

Also, I noticed there is a part number for daytime running lights. I certainly don't have those either...not that I'd want them, but did all the cars have those? If so, again I'd question the burnt out bulbs.

Believe it. I don't even have 27,000 on my '04 and the drivers side fog has gone out twice. First time they replaced it for free, but they gave me a hard time with the 2nd one. I am just going to get some PIAAs or something. I just have to choose between blue and amber. Decisions, decisions.
