SL wood question

So, is the wood grain in the SL real or nice looking plastic?
If real, how can I verify this?\
thanks

That's what I figured. Of course a salesman told me it was real wood.
Big surprise there.

It's nice fake wood though, right? I'm in the proces of converting my SL into a "Nismo" maxima. I'm going to replace the nice fake wood with aluminum or carbon fiber one day. Let me know if anyone knows of a nice set.

Why not? Saw it in a stock Audi RS4 and it looked sweet! Better than fake wood or fake aluminum. What's your preference?

I don't know about the earlier models, but the aluminum in the 07 is real
