why does reverse have the potential to hit the STB?
I have a 5AT and as for shaking in reverse...

Wow I back out my driveway everyday and she moves just as smooth in reverse as she does in forward. I do believe is someones engine is vibrating excessively, they may want to consider racingline MMI so stiffen her up (I did but I only installed the MMI's about 2 months ago). And with the mods I have, especially the headers my engine tends to rumble more but still never had a rubbing issue and I'm almost going on 3 years since I purchased my Stillen FUSB. I did however have the Stillen brace custom polished.

Older picture before I did the manifold...

I hope that most of you are ok with everything but if some want to back out I understand, it has taken a fair bit longer than I had originally said

I swore this was posted some where else but I can't find it.

cut/ paste from nissanclub from 4/18/07

as posted on .org, the new sample received was welded wrong again!!!!! so I had to cut the welds and weld it. I sent it back and it was received by the company last night. I just have to wait and see what they say now.

the quality of the samples have been great but I think the person setting up the jigs must be new or something, cause this is stupid. The fist sample I understand as there were minor changes from the original, but the second sample was *** backwards.

the bar was recieved so I'm just waiting on what better be the final sample

Is there a way to prevent this from happening again like talk to those idiots on the phone right before they weld? Can you change supplier?

Whatever. The $78 for the strut bar is ABOUT a weeks worth of gas for me. STILL, can't wait 'til they're ready, BUT won't starve to death in the meantime. Have you THOUGHT about selling the design to someone (e.g. like Nismo or Cusco)? L-T, I know, but just looking out for you, Taz...

I was wondering if anyone did the Front Strut Tower Brace and the RSB without lowering...I live in a place with a lot of potholes and can't lower the car but still looking for good suspension...will this FSTB and the Progress RSB WITHOUT lowering still make a good difference, or is it a lost cause?

it should. there's still a ton of suspension parts that can help.. I'm impatiently waiting for subframe connectors for our cars.... that should make a nice difference.

Welcome to modding a 6th Gen, this happens all the time with our cars because so few people mod them so we are way low on the production list. Racingline does great work, sometime quality products take time and Racingline has to deal with other companies as well to manufacture parts and sometimes they are not in a hurry because they know by manufacturing performance parts for an Altima it will generate more revenue because they are sold to the masses. Most Max owners don't mod so we sit and wait, this is just the downside of Max ownership, the good thing is that I know like other performance mods, Racingline will come through...
