Plastic Push Clips, Where To Buy?

Does anyone have a good place to pick up a bunch of these stupid plastic push clips that hold our engine and wheel well liners in place? The local dealer wants $1 each for these things. There has got to be a cheaper place out there! Thanks.

holly crap! $1?! that gets you 3 for the price of one at my dealership...I think they are about $3 at my dealership.

are you seriously going to throw a fit because of $1 per clip? You are driving a Maxima, so you should have some spare change!

I'm sure that if you buy a bunch of em' then they'll discount it a little

$1 seems a lot to me.

Im sure if u check online, a place has to have em, they seem pretty generic enough.

Auto Zone carries some. Their not exactly like OEM but their the same size and do the same thing. If I recall, it was a pack of 10 for under $2.

You can also find miscellaneous plastic push clips at Lowe's or Home Depot, normally stocked in the screws/nails section in the special hardware draws...

if you're looking for the OEM clips, go to: nissanparts.org they are located in Arizona, and the clips are .69 ea. I called the dealership and got the OEM part number then logged onto their website and ordered them.

After looking around my engine compartment and wheel wells I noticed that I probably need at least 10-15. Half of them are hanging hafway out and will need replacing soon. Also, its nice to keep spares around. They always seem to be coming loose. I spend so much money on this car that its nice to save a buck or two here and there! I thought we bought Maximas because we didn't have a lot of money?

Up here in Canada I found them in bags at the local UAP/NAPA parts store. They are in with the body shop supplies, so I'm pretty sure they're universally available. You just have to find a good parts shop that carries them.

I paid $2.00 each at the stelaship last time. He gave me the wrong size, came back gave me another pack (the right) ones and told me to keep the other ones. Both usefull but yeah I agree $2.00 is too expensive no matter how little $2.00 actually is.

If dealerships were Home Depot, you'd be fcuked if you needed nailes. LOL

Scubat, my front facia was hanging down because I came down my drive way too fast. I went to Ace Hardware and bought 6 each of the metal clips and screws for less than $2.00, the best part is they are stainless steel and won't get stretched out like the plastic ones do, making them useless.

Stupid crap, I hit a pothole (if you can call that a pothole, it's more like an actual hole, 4 foot by 6 inches deep... was night didnt see it). Bent the bottom of the bumper near the fogs, scratched the crap outta it, and broke half of the plastic mudguars's pins....

I'll give UAP Napa a call tomorrow.
Do you know if they carry all sizes?

Hey KC, are you going to whine like a little girl every time I post a new message? Because this is starting to get ridiculous ok. I cant post a single thread without having you reply some sort of crap. If you dont like my posts, don't answer.

Of course if I didnt search you would whine that I didnt search, and since I searched, you whine that I bump old threads.

Get a life.

If Napa doesn't have them, try Lowes or even Home Depot, I found a butt load in all sizes and shapes in the isle that has screws/nuts/bolts, etc. they were located in the special bins section. Bring one with you into the store and show them, I know they have them...

Napa has them but they are quite expensive. Approx 1$ each in packs of 5-6.
They are exactly like the OEM. I dont know how much the dealership wants for them here, but it cannot be cheaper than napa. So prolly 2-3$ each...

Bought them since I needed a few right now, but next time I go to walmart or home depot I'll give it a look. Always useful to carry a few...

OP, Have you AutoZone around?

Go there and ask for:
SKU 493517 (Part # 961-060) for $2 or
SKU 493503 (Part # 799-100) for $3

Both are the same 5/16" Rivets but in different Qty box.

They are not the same look as original push clips they but works pretty much the same or even better. I found this new version with philips threaded screws on top from AutoZone fits pretty tight then the original version of push clips.

Had to register just to answer your question. Excuse my english and grammar, not my first language.

Thanks me later.
