Hey, you might have some truth in what you're saying according to the stealer that serviced my mother's 07 a few weeks ago. I simply laughed, though I do suspect that the 08 will have a 3.7 (from the g37 coupe) and will be significantly larger.

lol, damn I just found this today. VQ37 would be freaking awesome. 330hp !!!!

but next gen maxima should at least have the vq35HR and should have at least 280hp to stay competitive.
