The night before the drop...

Hi All, first and foremost you guys have a very nice site! Lots of good information ...

For those that want to check my ride its here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2619345

The car is being lowering tomorrow with Eibachs .... I humbly think it will look fantastic .

The odd part about this is I never thought I would ever own a Nissan.... and here I am. It started with the Z then came our cars...love the aggresive styling....

Anyways, I will post updated pics after tomorrow when the car lowered....

Get out of here! What does that equate to, in terms of fines? Give me a break!

Nothing better to do than write a ticket for your dragon?

My apologies MisterSparkle!

The Fujita Intake gives a growl when it is opened up (you may know this or have one), so we jokingly coined it the 'Dragon'!

So yes, an inside joke. Again, sorry I forgot to fill y'all in on it.

Now go let her breathe FIRE!

'Twas the night before lowering, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that lowering springs soon would be there;

Larsim were nestled all snug in his bed,

While visions of a lowered Max danced in his head;

He sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

His impatience only growing a little bit fatter,

Away to the window he flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow

Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below,

When, what to his wondering eyes should appear,

But a sleek lowered Max, on four big wheels oh my dear,

With a fast young driver, so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

With the sleigh full of Mods, and St. Nicholas too!

wow, red isn't really a color that I like, but you make red look amazing on both the 4.4(possible 4.6, but somewhat rare) and the 3.5!!! the funny part is that the beamer probably hangs if not takes out the Maxima a chip and some minor breather mods to the BMW would make it very worthy

Thanks for the welcome everyone. The lowering is done.... was too dark to take pics tonight ... will have'em by the weekend...

The car sure feels a bit stiffer than stock however not by much. It still feels good and cornering is much better....

Question for you lowered guys (and gals!)... my '07 appears very slightly lower than a stock '04-'06 (especially in the back), but nowhere near your lowered rides. My car high-centers on sills and/or exhaust near the center of the car on almost any driveway entrance... even some road humps. I hate the front wheel gap but can't imagine how bad it would be if it was dropped.

Is this a problem on your dropped cars?

Depends, if she's really turning a wrench then, yes, it's me. I love to work on my car.

No, I didn't wear a wedding dress to crawl under a Bimmer. Just a cute picture I found.

My car is dumped and doesn't bottom out (you just have to know how to drive a low car) But when it was stock I never had any problems...
