2 Minor Mods I'm Thinking Of..Suggestions Please

1) Shark Fin Antenna

...I know some people say don't do it, i'm thinking i should try it, i like the shark fins on the bmws, audis, the new g35's....here are some links:

SF 1:

SF 2:

SF 4:

There are five different types of fins, Please choose the best one according to you that you think would look good on a maxima.

2) LED Bar:

I saw this bar on ebay and i really liked it. It has a cigarette ligther connector - is there anyway i can get rid of the cigarette lighter and hook it up using one of the car wires? I was thinking of putting it in the rear in the center or behind the bose speakers. Possible? If so, do you think it'd look nice - any ideas as to where i should put it? Or do you think it'd look cheap? or should i put it in the trunk? or a big NO? Please advise

This guy likes it so **** the others......drrrrrrrrr lol

Shark fin-sure go for it and try it out

LED bar-try to wire it to the door lights, so that they go on when you open the door and fade off when you close them. I've thought about this and think it would look awesome! Just make sure to hide the actual bar, so it doesn't look to

LED ball-not sure

sf-I thought it was functional at first, but on the other forums you said that it's just for looks...that's a big NO imo, that's like getting a front mount CAI so that it looks like you have a turbo!

but that's obviously just my opinion

lol, thanks for the replies guys. if i could get it to be functional, that'd be great cause in future, i might get xm radio in the car but let's see, i'll look for a functional one that could relay the xm radio signal, then i'll go for the sf and the xm radio tuner.

nah, i ain't getting the ledball, i thought it looks cool. and the led bar - i'm still thinking of it, just don't know where to put it, i was thinking door sills but i doubt it'll fit there. i could fit it in the rear where the bose speakers are - what say?

hmm.....

and sf2 or sf3 - they both look good....i don't know lol - does it matter if it's functional? i understand where you're coming from prjctmax! but i thought it'd look good in terms of looks :$ hmm...but i do have plans on getting xm in the car in the next cpl o months...i could probably get a functional one then.

umm...actually, nevermind - if i do get it, i rather it not be functional as i just noticed the functional ones would have to be drilled in and my car's a lease so if i do get it, it'll be solely for looks. i'm confused between sf2 or sf3.

I don't know..I gotta see it on the car to see if I feel it or not. But I don't think it'll look right. But hey, thing only cost 10 dollars. Just do it and find out.

If you are thinking about getting XM check out the audio places to see if they have what you want or check with BMW to see if the have one that works with XM.
PM gec to see if he can make you a LED bar. He does this type of work.

Good luck with what ever you do.

Thanks for the prop's dude and my comment is based on my taste and not everyone feels it but I still do it. You should do the same. When it comes to your ride, it should be all about you, not us. Peace bro...
