Upgrade Non-Nav to Nav

I think this has been discussed before but I want to make sure, on the 04-06 maxima's is it possible to install the factory navigation system into a non navigation car, I think I had read that its wired into everything but just wanted to be sure because there is a system on ebay for 700 dollars which is like 1400 less then it would have costed from the dealer just let me know, thanks guys

This has been discussed a bunch of times but I guess there's alot more you have to do to make it work, sensors, a new windshield etc...
For $200 more you can get a D3 which has way more features and better NAV interface!!

thanks for the info man yea I know actually gonna go with the pioneer z2 but question for the stock info screen (the 1 we all love ;-) is the wire long enough if say i just wanted to throw it in the glove box instead of keeping it in the dash? cause i know u said that the climate control wont work without the screen but i dont care about knowing the exact temp or air flow or anything I will know how hot or cold it is and where the air is coming from and how much air is blowing and most of the buttons light up anyway but u had said i need the screen i would just put a screen protector on it and throw it in the glove box and put stuff on top of it or something let me know if the wire is long enough to do so, thanks man appreciate the advice/info

Im not sure if it will reach the glove box, it just reached the bottom of the center consol. I would think you would have to add wires to make it reach. just my .02 cents

It won't reach, it barely reaches down below. Depending on the HU you might be able to just leave behind the dash. I had mine brain from my N2 back there but the D3 is an all in one unit...

you can buy a bigger console cover (double bin)from activetunning.com. You will still be needed to cut a small portion out in order for the dvd player to fit.
