07 wing

I am sorry to ask such a n00b question but i the dealer told me that the oem 07 wing will not fit on my 04. Does it fit or do i need to find an aftermarket one?

also i am debating between the oem 07 and this one:
http://www.spoilerdepot.com/Catalog....oduct=556&idB=

any pics would be helpful

If you already have a lip spoiler then you will have to "fill in" the existing holes from it, but if you have no spoiler then the 07' should "bolt" right on

Been quite a few discussions on this. The wing fits perfectly as the trunk sheetmetal has not changed. However, if you currently have the lip spoiler, if you remove that you will have some holes that are not covered by the new spoiler. Several methods for dealing with them have been discussed, from tape to plugs to real body work+paint. Some have even left the lip spoiler in place and mounted the new spoiler on top of it.

I think it looks fine, and with the factory painting option it would probably be a lot cheaper. 07 spoilers come pre-painted in 07 colors, many of which are different from earlier years.

I have the spoiler from spoilerdepot, however, they didn't impress me at all.. the spoiler was fine, as it's not even made or painted by spoilerdepot.com ... it didn't come with ANY instrutions at all, and the instructions on their website (which are a pain to find -- or at least they were) aren't the right instructions for what they ship you.. but like I said, the spoiler is fine. here's some pics of mine, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2566865/4

if you do end up getting that one, I'll hunt down the instructions for you again.. just pm me.

you weren't asking me, but ... I did buy the CHMSL (Center High Mount Stop Light) cover.. it's only available for the 07, so if you're at a dealer or ordering online, just tell them you have an 07, or they'll tell you they know more than you and tell you it won't fit..

Option 1 - I prefer mesh over billet. To each his/her own.

I left the third brake light and actually tapped into it to get power to the spoiler.

Yeah, what's wrong with just leaving it as two lights? In my mind this looks ok, and if it will be lit, why cover it?

What does the '07 spoiler look like?

I'm kinda feelin' the Spoiler Solutions one pictured above.

I removed my third brake light, mainly because I planned to tint my windows and didnt want the tint arching over the light. It pops out pretty easily. Then tapped into the wires for the spoiler LED.

I was also thinking about getting the 07' spoiler. Minus the dealer, does anyone know where else to buy one?
