22" Wheels Question
22" Wheels Question
I am looking to get 22" wheels but not quite sure what offset and hub size to get can any one help me out I tried out an offset of 18 mm and they did not fit they where rubbing... Thanks for your time..
22s
Hello! 22s should fit just fine, with several width options to choose from. The offset for our 6thgen maxima is "High". My first set of 22s that where applied on my 05 maxima where 22x8, an the fit was perfect with no rubbing. I had them for about 3 months, then upgraded to 22x8.5, which fit great also. So you definitely have option of either 22x8,22x8.5,22x9 and 22x9.5. But the wider you go, there will have to be some possible fender rolling which isn't a bad idea even if you don't have 22s. I currently have 22x8.5 wheels with custom Koni Adj. Front struts, KyB Agx Adj. Shocks in the rear, steel braided brake lines, RSB, Intrax Lowering Kit which drop the front @ 2.25 inches & modified rear Intrax springs to drop the rear @ a whopping 2 inches. There's also brake & engine modification to give my car a comfortable/ performance edge. So to sum everything up in a nut shell, if you go with bigger wheels & Tires, upgrade the suspension and engine components for better performance if possible. Plus these 22s in the photo are for sale if your interested, only 2 1/2 months old and there in great condition.

I got some 22's I put them in and they ditnt fit, major rubbin in borth front and REAR.

22s & Compatible Lowering Kits

Hello! There's @ least 4 to 5 Lowering kits to modify our
Maxima's suspension, it all depends on what appearance
your trying to capture. My opinion is to definitely upgrade
your suspension if you can when choosing Larger Wheels
& Tires, even if there not 22s. But back to the lowering
kits that are design for our Maxima's, I currently have the
Intrax Lowering kit that drops the vehicle in the front @
2.25 inches and the rear @ 1.5 inches. But my rear springs
have been modified to drop the vehicle well over 2 inches
in the back, an that's only because I have upgraded to
Adjustable KYB AGX shocks & Adjustable Koni Struts in the
front. So I can go from luxury ride to stiff street performance
with just a few clicks of a ****. So here's a few kits that
you could choose from: (1)Eibach (2) Progress (3)Intrax
(4) Sprint (5) H&R , Etc...........

Fastmax05! What's up? I really appreciate your comment a lot. The Front grill I made myself, It's actually a Cadillac Cts grille that I modified to fit my O5 Maxima. It's definitely unique, came up with the idea a few months back.

Yeah man that is hot!! I think ive seen that on cardomain if I recall.
The only thing about 22's is that eventually the rotors might crack (depending on how you drive). I had a buddy who had 22's and he cracked all 4 rotors. He tried to race alot. But I dont think the OEM rotors and stuff can support it??? But 22's do really set off the Max. And finally they are rappin' about Maxima's!!! We are comin up!!! Move out the way 300!! lolol

04BlackMaxx! I appreciate your comment, the grille is actually pretty easy to construct with a couple days of patients & time. Below is how it look before & after it was done. An the bumper is being replace next week with a new fiberglass custom bumper from Bodykitz.org. An once I receive that bumper, I will fabricate or modify the lower section & the fog lights to be unique from thee other guys that have the same bumper here on maxima.org &
6thgenmaxima.org. The mouth @ the bottom is considered small, but serves it 's purpose and looks a lot bigger in person. Again thanks for the comment!

This is the bumper that should be arriving next week, that I will modify.
