Wrecked my baby

On my way home from work, I got nailed in the drivers side/rear by an Explorer driven by some underage ******* driving someone else's car illegally. Everyone was fine. Here's the pics. Will post more info when I talk to the insurance adjuster tomorrow or Friday.

At first I thought you actually wrecked it. I guess that is not so bad, seen alot worse. Good luck.

It's wrecked. I know I certainly wouldn't want to see my car in that condition. I have to agree with the fellow that said that "if it isn't cherry, it's wrecked."

I am glad you are ok Ritz. I am sorry this happened. What a shock and a drag.

1. are the four bumps on the 07 rear bumper the sonar system?
2. is that for telling you if you're about to back into something?
3. is sonar optional equipment?
4. can you get a 07 bumper without those bumps?

Sorry to hear about the wreck, but like everyone else is saying, at least you're OK.

My co-worker's daughter just had her boyfriend's brand new 325i totaled when a 15 year old tore out of a driveway in reverse and T-boned her. The kid took off and the cops discovered the Expedition was owned by the boy's father; it was also uninsured.

Good luck with your situation. It's always a sad day when a fellow Max enthusiast is wrecked.

BTW, yes those bumps in the 07's bumper are the sonar sensors for backing up. They are awesome & I wish I had them on my car!

but I don't want them... I think they make it look hideous.. which was why I asked.. I want the 07 bumper with the black accent around the mufflers and no bumps..

Can be done, rear sonars aren't standard on the 07's which means, they are produced with bumpers that do not have them.
