rear brakes...I need more help

i am replacing my rear brake rotors/pads, i was wondering are the calipers compressed in with a C-clamp?? I heard some are compressed by turning something(never seen anything like that) but i just wanted to make sure before i get out and do it. i search a little but couldnt find anything..

thanks

compress that ****! Make sure that the opposite side is still mounted, otherwise when you push one side, the other side might pop the piston out!

Get a hammer and hit it from the back and it should start to come loose

That hole is to adjust the parking brake. I over spun the wheel in there and still couldn't get it off. A ballpene hammer and a mallet did the job for me.
