Painted Wilwood Calipers

Painted Wilwood Calipers
Well, my car will finally be finished by the end of next week so I thought I would post a teaser pic of the 4 POT Wilwood calipers that are going on the front. I had the body shop spray them red to match the 4 POT rear calipers that are coming in on Monday. Let em know what you think. I will post more pics next week after I get the car back. Sorry for pic quality I took it with my cell phone.

I would have done body color... Especially for $100.

What are you doing for rotors?

Which calipers are you using in the rear? I'm using the Wilwood 4 Piston superliteweights in the front. But I can't source a proper Wilwood rear caliper that will keep my parking brake. What are you using? Any pictures of your rear calipers. I current am driving a 4th gen, but using 6th gen 2pc rotors. So I'm sure I can fabricate a relocation braket so I can use the same calipers you are using in the rear

Joe PM ill give you my phone number or i can call you..... I hope your not putting 1.38 calipers up front because i just sent mine back.... and I ended up getting the 1.75 front 4 pot calipers which are also going back.... (to much pedal travel) to get replaced with the 1.62 fronts.
As for the rear...... man with 1.38 pots up front my bias shifted to the rear and my car became the white knuckle ride of the century.
Brian at fastbrakes is taking care of everything, but its very very dangerous to put the 1.38 calipers up front.
Matt Blhem can chime in here for this one.... he solved the problem on my car.
Call me we need to talk.

He said that the 1.38" are too small for the size of our car which I guessed weighed around 3500 lbs. So Kam the 1.62" are the way to go it seems. Mine are being mailed tomorrow. Thanks for the foresight, I just wish it came a few weeks earlier before I painted them. Anyway I sure Brian will be able to sell them.

One more thing about Fastbrakes... IF they are using real wilwood rotors in their kits.. Those 13.6" rotors! Man, that's almost, like, 14! Guess what... wilwood does not offer 13.6 rotors. It's actually 13.06" (wich is still good, no doubt). It's just not what they say it is. Of course, if it's not wilwood rotors that they sell, then don't mind what I just said.

an update. I ordered the maxima kit from fastbrakes. What shows up via fedex? No other than THESE red calipers (the ones he had painted and then returned)
Got a call from fastbrakes the next day telling me that those are the wrong ones and were sent erroneously. They're overnighting the (black) 1.62 bore - the "updated kit" to me.
Kind of funny that I got the calipers that you painted

But that got resolved and I got a new lip and grill out of it.
On autox days, we take our plates off, in case our car ends up on the front page of some magazine or newspaper and your insurance guy goes WTF!!
