No bypas valve, just a great CAI. It affects gas mileage as much as any other CAI would. Poeple without lead foot, notice slight increase in mileage about 1 MPG. For those who are addicted to the screaming, MPG drops. However when it comes to gains, Fujita's are documented with a dyno unlike other intakes that advertise theoretical gains.

Has anybody modified the wheel well were the filter goes to get more air into it? I was thinking about cutting an opening into the bottom plastic to try and increase the air intake. Anybody have any thoughts on that?
