Wheel Opinion

Well guys after all the money I recently spent modding my car I don't have the money at this time to buy the shoes I really want but I was able to get my hands on a set of stock rims off Ebay for 200.00. Anyway I'm thinking about painting them black. Let me know what you think. These will be temporary until next spring.

if you are going to paint them black...have them painted black chrome
Buy some that are stock then have them black chromed.

I agree, the black chrome would look great on your car.

Isn't black chrome an electro-plating finish? I don't think you can paint anything 'chrome' and do a nice job.

I think black would look good, but power coat, not paint. Black chrome would look good to.

I've seen those stock 18 inch wheels painted before in person and it looks good. I say go for it then when you get your new wheels you'll have 2 sets of custom wheels.

Where would you get wheels painted like this. Now that i'm thinking about it, I could see myself spending about 200 to paint my stock wheels Coral Sand ... I think they'd look insane.
