Abs

This may sound strange but when I run the AC on high it takes power from the ABS. The ABS does not kick in as strong and I thought my brakes were about to go out. Then I noticed when I turn the AC to a very low setting the ABS kicks in stronger. If I turn the AC off the Braking is normal again. My battery has drained twice already and I didn't want to buy a new battery yet. Last year the Alternator went out and the car died on the side of the road. WTF !!!!!

When you say kicks in stronger, what do you mean? Do you mean your braking is better?

As far as I know ABS is only activated when the wheels lock up so I don't quite understand what you're saying.

Stopping distance is longer. The ABS in the maxima is alot better than my past car and is very noticable to me. Unless its doing something it should not be doing. The tires used to squeel when I applied the brakes to hard. Seems like when the AC is on takes longer to bring the car to a complete stop. All four brakes were done less than 6k ago.
