HP from Catback exhaust?
I did a search and really couldn't find an answer to this.
What kind of HP/Tq gains can you expect from a Catback exhaust?
I'm looking at having a shop do a custom Catback w/ 2.5" piping going into Remus mufflers.
I know the headers/y-pipe is where a lot of power is...but unfortunalty these aren't available for us.

IF the bends are precise, then you should expect somewhere around 10-12whp, I'm basing this off of Cattman's cat-back with 2.5'' piping and magnaflow mufflers, so it may be a little different with the better flowing Remus mufflers.

What kind of HP are they expecting from that? What are they running...bout $300ish?

I found the price but not expected HP.
"NEW Cattman Y-pipes for 04-06 Maximas w/ 5-speed auto transmissions; due for release in September, early orders being taken now; reg. price will be $379.99, with FastCat catalytic converter $579.99, introductory price 349.99, w/ FastCat $524.99"
I wonder how loud this thing is. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

I was referring to the actual Cattman cat-back exhaust, not the y-pipe.
The y-pipe adds very minimal to almost no sound at all and it also adds about 10whp. Check it out on the 6thgenmaxima.org
