Ok upgraded to 04 Se Silver Max with Navi and Hid's a few weeks ago and got a few questions.

1) I have the stock Hid's and thought replacing the stock fog bulbs with either yellow bulbs or a 3000k hid set would really look nice. Want to know/see what people are using. If you could post your pics/link that be great.

2) Purchased the car used and havn't been able to figure out how to reset the "home" button on the Navigation to my adress. If you know how to do this please let me know.

3) Hood struts/lifts dont hold the hood up, wondering if this common prob as it was on my old 97 and what people are replacing them with from where and how much they cost.

I did have a detailed write up on how to do the HID fogs, but the thread is not working in the stickies

Just shop around your local auto part stores for the hood shocks.

 

Yeah had the thread saved but with the maintenance all the links are outta-wak. I mean not really worried bout the install I have a automotive background, it was more see pics of the look and to help me decide between bulbs or hid kit. As for the hood struts on the 4th gens they never lasted so curious if its even worth it, I am assuming its still a comon problem.

 

one more question to add to the list... I need and extra key or 2. How much is it going to cost me and anybody besides dealer can program. Oh and is it worth it to buy the aftermarket ebay keys and get them programed.

I got my ONE extra key at NISSAN for I think $130ish out the door...

I would personally rather just take a hit and buy from the dealership on this one...depending on the ebay pricing.
