light Vibration noise thru gas pedal

Hello, recently i have experienced lots of vibration thru gas pedal when cruising,
but if i give it gas the vibration goes away.
The vibration is light but annoying, it feels like something is grinding, you don't hear it you just feel it.

has anyone experieced the same thing, I thinking of going to nissan with this but I just wanted to go in with some ideas of what may be.

I think it's the transmission, nothing else in the car shakes, steering wheel doesn't shake, just the gas pedal and the floor underneath the gas pedal.

please advise.....thanks

I feel it also, but it is because of the intake. It doesn't cause any lack of power or problems. I really believe it is the lower growl of the intake though.

It's done, switch back to synthec blend, feels alot better. but it's still there, it didn't go completely away.

I'm also going to change my tires this week from summer to all season, i'll see if it makes a difference.

I'm going down to nissan on tuesday, see what they have to say, won't change the tires until after, i don't think it's the tires.

lets see what they have to say.

If giving the car a little gas makes the pedal vibration stop, then it isn't tire-related. I am very suspicious if it could even be oil-related. I don't remember seeing this accellerator pedal vibration mentioned here before.

As to the oil, I hope you have 15K (or at least 10K) on your engine before going with synthetic, otherwise you can mess up proper engine break-in.

There are those who swear by synthetic, and, once an engine is properly broken in, it is a fine oil to use. But having driven Maximas to beyond 200,000 on the odo with dino oil and having never had an engine problem, I am happy with either. Once the engine is completely broken in, and the change to synthetic is made, I would probably not go back to dino.

Check your heat shields on the y pipe if still stock and the heat shield off the header that is worthless. There are 3 tack welds that actually are also used to close the exhaust as well. Good ol Nissan and there econo bull$hit saving ideas. Anyways, I welded the whole and the vibration is minimal.

Thank you for the different suggestions, I also don't think is the oil, as for the tires we'll see, I'll check the y-pipe and the welds.
I took the car for another test drive, I noticed it happens more at low speeds 25 - 35,40, more noticeable going slightly uphill, if i pull back on the gas pedal it's really noticeable your foot feels like there's something rumbling, grinding, as soon as i give it gas no more foot noise.
Crusing on the highway at 55-65 mph, smooth maybe because your constantly give it gas. as soon as i let off the gas you feel noise vibration. i'm wondering if there's something loose in the transmission.

thanks for all your feedback.

I have the same problem, since I bought my car used, it is 2006 with 70000 km now. What I noticed is that this issue is RPM related, only slightly below 2000 rpm. As soon as you increase RPM it goes away.

I would really like to find out what it is, cause it is rather annoying.
