This may have been adressed before, if so, my apologies. Quick question, there is a chrome piece that goes all the way from the trunk to the hood. I Was wondering if there is a plastic cover that covers this strip, because it seems that one part of it shiny and very easy to clean, as to opposed to the long strip that goes on the roof line right above both doors, is verrry hazy and impossible to clean, I have tried all sort of stuff. It looks like there is a plastic cover, but I am not about to find it the hard way and ruin something.

its a known problem..Almost everyones chrome strips fade away..You might be able to get the dealer to replace them, but I think they're on back order..Not sure what you have to do, but its a occurring problem with the 6th gen maximas, you're not alone.

an overlay is a film that will go over the chome strips... u can get it any number of colors...
