Free Recalls

What recalls will a Nissan Dealer do for free for a 2004 Maxima? I already have brand new Goodyear RSA's over the defective one's.

struts?
subframe?
etc...................

You know the net that holds groceries. My car came from the factory I guess missing a retainer, and where there should be a hole for it, its all sealed up like they forgot to drill a hole in there, so 2 of my hooks have nothing to attach too. I also have 1 thats very loose. Aynone else have this? I assume Nissan will fix this little problem for free since its a mess up coming from when it was built. Just havn't bothered with it yet. There's 2 Nissan dealers where I live, and there both an hour away.

Isn't the warranty 3 years/36,000 miles? If so, then you just missed it!

But either way, it doesn't hurt to go there and plead your case.

There's a difference between factory recalls and "problems." Not sure if struts are under the "recall" section yet, but I know that the rear sub-frame is.

You can also ask them for a print-out of all the recalls that there are for the 04'-06' Maxima. I'm sure that someone can post the link to all of the recalls as well...even though I think they are in the stickies

If I call the Nissan dealer will they be able to tell me off there computers if my car has the defective subframe, or if it has been fixed already after I give them my VIN#.

Does that mean they will fix the glove compartment for free so it shuts flush?

that is not a recall. look at the sticky I mentioned. TSB is how to fix something: you have a warranty, or you pay.
