Ok guys I found the company that makes those LED tails. It's Depo Auto Parts out of Taiwan. I sent them an e-mail describing what we are looking for and told them nicely that "we feel the LED tail lights currently available don't suit our cars and do them proper justice" (politcally correct)

So we'll see what kind of response we get, I sent them the photoshop and said I have a list of around 20 people that would buy right away if they released what we are looking for...

Nevermind, this would not be impossible. In fact, I think this might be a bit easier than the other version I was thinking of. Justin was so kind as to give me a set of ginuea pig tails. I have the LED number and power circut ready to go, just need to set time aside to make the acrylic panel and etach the boards.

I was making good progress on the, but then I got engaged. Silly me.

But rest assured, these WILL be designed before year's end...

Dave, after looking at that pic a bit I can assure you that the dual-circle LED model WILL be the one being made.

Justin was the first one to support me with this project, so it is only natural for his car to be the first with them. The tails NEEDN'T be smoked for my design...

I am not going to make any concrete prices right now. Price will likley be contingent on how many people follow through on their demand.

The dual-ring version that looks like the g35 tails. It won't need smoking because...well, just trust me on this one.

wait i'm confused which one of my designs are you planning on using? the left, m45 dual circles w/ the separate reverse light or the right, skyline style lighting w/ the reverse light inside of the smaller circle LED? i tried to purposly make it that way for one reason...it leaves room for the rear hollagrams...which is required by all vechicles.

buh as long as you don't make the hollagram the same as that stupid CE euro LED light. which is lik in the middle of no where and is in a weird shape...lolxz

Ok guys I took some time a worked on some different designs for tailights, I made these from scratch so use your imaginations!! They all incorporate the round LED's with the required reflectors in the middle of each one. I varied the placement and application of the reverse lights, the brake/blinker are all positioned the same as that's what we all liked from my first photoshop.

Let me know what you guys think:

B...make the top LED circle a bit larger. and make the smaller LED circle overlap the larger one...leave the circle led reverse light!!! EXCELLENT.

Interesting designs, but the ones posted on this page would have to consist of SMT LEDs that incoporate parabolic reflectors which would AMPLY increase the production cost...
