if by expensive you mean 2 to 300 its allrigth, i've got some ideas for a cheap manufacturing method, but it still in the works, ill try to do some 3d cad, and ill hook u up with them. just give me sometime, and remember that price its all about quality... not quantity...

I'm making the design template right now. With a chipd you are seriousl talking $600 or more for a pair. You realize in the latter design you are going to be incorporating a microprocessor controlled chip (limited by the number of nodes as per LED & chip memory).

but it still in the works, ill try to do some 3d cad, and ill hook u up with them. just give me sometime,
The 3D Cad model is going to look fantastic, I have no doubt about it...but just keep in my wether you are doing it for fun or you intend on using it for something functional.

and remember that price its all about quality... not quantity..
There is a manufacturing triangle that is widley known and it goes as follows...

Quantity
Quality
Inexpensive

...now pick two.

Would you sooner see the turn signal as a smaller diameter ring inside of the two, or two independent bars on the bottom?

You guys don't think we could simplify the process for the turn signals to be withing the big circle? And maybe a nother inner ring of leds of red for brake?

Check out the Range Rover lights, see if i can find a good pic.

It doesnt matter who does it first. As long as some one does it soon. I guess who ever is first will get all the money.

OH.. These tailights look just like the Acura RL light. I saw on yesterday and it looked great..

wow do u think they can make something that won't get the attention of anybody that walks by it. i mean if they did the led buh just redded it out i think it would be better.

IMO i wanna stay as stock as possible. just LEDs underneath the red cover.

I agree, the more stock appearing the better. Think it would look classier. IMO

Hopefully you have any luck with IPCW, they are, safe to say, the lead in led aftermarket car products.

It's weird they haven't touched the Maxima market, gess they consider us not worth their efforts....

But i agree the simplier the better, BUT i also like the G35 Like tails also.

GOT A RESPONSE FROM IPCW!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Wow, that is an awesome looking light. I am impressed. Actually, so much so I showed your design to our CEO. He liked it so much he was going to call for a R&D meeting right away. The engineers will sit down and discuss about your design. A lot of factors need to be studied on, market demand and pricing included, before an item can be put in development. I'll definitely let you know the updates though.

I do have some questions that I hope you or anyone in your forum can answer. Above the taillight, there is a piece of tail lamp rim that you need to take out in order to remove the tail light. Is it plastic or metal? Is it attached to the tail light? How easy is it to take out the tail lamp rim and put it back after a tail light is intalled? To keep the price down, we don't want to include this piece with the LED tail light when we sell them. Can this be done?

Lilian
IPCW"

OK people let give them an answer..
