If you guys are so concerned about chrome you must EMPHATICALLY state to the designers that the lens MUST BE CLEAR ACRYLIC RED.

hey im a new member to this forum. ive looked at CE adn they dont do things like you guys do so i thought i rather join a forum where they actually do stuff. and as for the halo LED's for the tail lamps like others have said need to see a finished product and price but from the looks of it i would be down as well i dont kno how to ad to the list so if sumone can plz add me to the list. thank you... and i had a question that doesnt pertain to this but does anyone know if its wise to do a staggered fit on the 06 maxima's thanks again

 

Hello guys, first poster here on the org. Since I can't start any new threads yet, I can't formally introduce myself so I'm using this thread as an introduction. I just purchased my 2006 SE about a month and a half ago and loving my new max each and everyday. One gripe about the car I have is that it does indeed lack the sharp and bright LED back lights many cars seem to have these days. You guys can count me in if these indeed look like the examples posted above! They look awesome. I'm not a big fan of flashy, ricey chrome tails, so I'm hoping they won't turn out that way. My former car was an Acura Integra gsr so I do know how quickly a decent car can turn into a total rice bucket. I've seen em all out here in socal..... So, count me in as long as they're nice and classy.

When I was dropped on Eibachs, the ride was great, completely bareable. Now I'm on coilovers and that's a different story. So how's you drop your Accord with a hacksaw??

Any updates on the taillights? pre-production pics?

 

i got the led tail lights i think they look good, if you go to procarparts.com the black led euro tail lights are going to be comin out soon they said sometime around or after christmas so a few weeks away its black where the chrome is in the current ones on the website or on custom enterprise

 

If these are the same chrome led tails I'm thinkin of......the black ones have been out for months now. Nobody's buying them....just not the right look for the max IMO.... at the same time....TO EACH HIS OWN.

I talked with max2damax and he said this:
"i sent out an email a couple weeks ago,, I will push this thru, ill make a couple of calls tomorrow, see if i can get an update"

So we'll see...

If you read through the entire thread it looks like they will be pretty much matching what we have designed, if they even end up making them. I think with all of us having this much input, we all feel pretty comfortable with what we will end up getting. Also the manufacturer has seen this thread and know what they have to do as well...

Better your taillights scratched, than your bumper all scuffed and dented I say. On topic... I'd be in for these taillights too if they look like the G or the M halo's!

 

small update, got an email from ipcw, and they told me that its taking longer than expected because they've got like 40 projects running right now, , but our lights are still there. just one of those things to look foward this year..

Im considering getting the ugly LED lights and tinting them, since you wouldnt see them anyway. Any thoughts?
