Carbon Fiber hood thread - again

I was at SEMA this week and I saw a CF hood on a black car that was painted black but then faded into the natural CF in the center. OMG it was soooooooooooo hot looking. I took pics of it but they didnt come out right. I may post some just to give u an idea but they looked bad.

Please would someone make a CF hood for our car with a small opening in the rear to let in cooler air for the engine. Please please.

I saw car after car with CF hoods, and we dont have one. Im thinking a hood like the charger - with a small scoop in teh middle, towards the rear of the hood. Chern's turbo will stay cooler too.

Isn't "C" for your 1st name's initial, and "hern" the 1st 4 letters of the last name?

Not sure why we are interested in this...CF will most likely NOT be a perfect fit, hood latches may be an issue, NO significant weight advantage and just too pricey and not enough gains imo...

A well-made hood should fit fine. And at SEMA, I saw these AWESOME hood latches. No more fugly hood pins. And I think a small scoop would look tasteful and slightly aggressive. Look at 7th Gen Celica, Dodge Charger, etc.

I think that if we were to some how incorporate the two "slits" that we have in the hood into some sort of "vents," then that would look very clean and smooth!

Just an idea that I think would look naice!

Majestic MAx05, this may be asking too much too soon but could you possibly photoshop some type of scoop or induction system on the hood?

Thanks

I guess you're right. I was hoping some company was "brave" enough to step up and make it.

The Nissan area was really barren. It had 3 Zs - 1 Nismo and two heavily modded ones. It had two Altimas, and 2 Sentras, both modded. THATS IT!!! My Maxima was the nearest Maxima. I gotta admit, I got a kick when the valet brought me my car and Asked "Is this your car?" I said "Yes" He said "THATS a NICE car!!!" I thought, wow, this guy has been driving nice cars all week, and he said that to me. Pretty cool. A Maxima should be in that show.
